public privacy paradox google's case needs rethink

Google's point of view is understandable. One fails to understand the meaning of privacy in public. When someone is out on the street- walking(pardon the pun) how can they be entitled to absolute anonymity? If they need it they should either be not out on the street or be in purdah. Why should the state or judiciary even try to enforce such privacy? We need to rethink public/private definitions and some of the public activities need to be excluded from privacy/anonymity protections offered by law.
