shooting the messenger does not change public perception

It is human tendency, nay practice-look at the whole of justice system- to judge everyone by precedents and history. Even if it is one bad apple it tends to stinkup the whole barrel. Kiran Bedi and Om puri just pointed that out. They were representing a widely held belief.Shooting the messenger with all available barrels- contempt of court/house etc- of bad tidings doesnot change the news or the public perception.
Instead cleanse the system of the bad apples ruthlessly, instead of allowing the tainted gain rear door entry into the parliament or assemblies using all loop holes in the law.
