Brinjal human safety not reliably proved
Are these scientists, families and friends willing to be human guinea pigs for the genetically modified vegetables long term field trials?
If not their motives for recommendation is seriously suspect
How can this bunch of local scientists overlook all the existing warning research and recommend the bio safety of GM crops? What about long term biological effects on humans? We still cannot deal with very well known Enteric fevers, E.coli infections etc. We are willing to be fed gene from a virulent silkworm pathogen Bacillus thuringiensis?
Sericulture is a major agro industry in Karnataka.
There is so much corruption in the country, of ideas,ideologies, loyalty that you cannot trust such recommendations.
